The First Vice Mayor of Bishkek was detained within the investigation of a criminal case on illegal allocation of land plots. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
Renat Makenov on Thursday and Friday was summoned for interrogation to the investigator of the State Committee for National Security.
Recall, the Prosecutor General’s Office revealed the fact of illegal allotment of a land plot by the Land Resources Department (former Municipal Property Department). In October 2014, the Municipal Property Department provided private individuals with a land plot in the 12th microdistrict with an area of 3.38 hectares for one year.
Despite the fact that it belongs to the common use lands, in December 2015, the Municipal Property Department sent materials to Bishkekglavarkhitectura for changing its functional purpose.
Renat Makenov was appointed the First Deputy Mayor of the capital on August 8, 2017. Prior to this appointment, he headed the Municipal Property Department of Bishkek.
