The President of Kyrgyzstan today received the Minister of Internal Affairs Kashkar Dzhunushaliev. The press service of the head of state reported.
They discussed the activities and ongoing reforms in the internal affairs bodies. Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted the need for timely implementation of the decision of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 8, 2018 and pointed out shortcomings in some areas of operational and investigative work.
The head of state stressed that it was necessary to strengthen work on combating corruption, primarily in the internal affairs agencies, prevention of street crime, intensify work to strengthen the discipline and responsibility of employees of law enforcement bodies, to ensure the safety of citizens and visitors of the republic both in public places and in the resort areas.
«Security in the republic and of every citizen is the most important thing in the work of law enforcement bodies,» Sorononbai Jeenbekov said.
