The State Financial Intelligence Service will check reports that 13 Kyrgyz citizens own elite real estate in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). The head of the agency Aibek Kadyraliev stated this today at the session of the Parliament.
Deputy Natalia Nikitenko reminded that one of the analytical centers earlier voiced information about elite apartments in Dubai. Well-known politicians were among the owners.
«It was said that well-known politicians, members and leaders of the organized crime groups, businessmen were among the owners of the property. Do you have any information about this? Do you cooperate with this center? Often they have a large research base. The investigation says that there are well-known politicians. Perhaps, they are high-ranking officials,» asked Natalia Nikitenko.
It is about a publication on the website of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). It says that a citizen of Kyrgyzstan Kamchi Kolbaev was among the owners of the real estate. The members of the investigative group said in an interview with the media that, in addition to Kolbaev, there were several people on the list.
In response, Aibek Kadyraliev said that the agency was preparing a request on this publication.
«We do not interact with this center. After the information, we prepare a request to the UAE to provide us with detailed information,» Aibek Kadyraliev stressed.
