Increased number of fires in the capital’s markets demonstrate that owners and tenants of retail facilities do not pay due attention to equipping the premises with fire fighting equipment, meeting security requirements, and drawing up evacuation plans. This was stated at a meeting of the working group of the Security Council.
According to the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the working group examined the results of the analysis of corruption risks in the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Road Facilities Department.
At the end of the meeting, it was recommended the experts of the Security Council, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, to develop and submit for consideration a draft detailed plan for dismantling systemic corruption in the department.
