Kyrgyzstan won four gold medals at the first stage of the World Cup (Central Asian League) in equestrian sport. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Competition in show jumping took place in Tashkent city. More than 50 athletes from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan participated in it.
Kyrgyzstani Kamil Sabitov took the first place in four categories. In the Grand Prix, performing on two horses, he won a silver medal, in addition to gold.
In addition, the team of the Kyrgyz Republic was the second at the team tournament «Cup of Nations.» Sadyr Mamytov, the President of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sport of Uzbekistan, also took the second place. In the nomination «for maximum of points,» Rinat Galimov won bronze medal.
The second stage of the World Cup will take place on May 22-25 in Bishkek.
