Affected by Osh market retailers get 10,000 soms each

The Bishkek City Administration rendered a one-time financial assistance to the affected by fires in the shopping and entertainment center Osh Bazary. Its press service reported.

The money was paid according to the previously drawn up list of victims — 488 people — 10,000 soms each.

It is reported that forensic, fire-technical measures are taken and clearing of debris is carried out at the fires site.

Prior to the restoration of trading places, the Bishkek City Administration together with the administration of Bereket Grand shopping center temporarily provided the entrepreneurs with places for trade along Kuliev Street, in an underground passage on Kievskaya Street, and on a parking lot. After the end of inspection, the trading rows will be repaired.

The administration of Seytek market and the pavilion Bereket Plus completes the repair and restoration works. Some retailers of Seytek LLC already trade on the restored places.

On April 19, 2018, the Mayor of Bishkek met with the victims and personally visited the burnt down market. During the meeting, the mayor promised to help traders affected by the fires.
