Installation of automated payment acceptance system with an electronic barrier started at Sosnovka post (the 81st kilometer of Bishkek-Osh road). Press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, in this regard, passage through the post is restricted from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.
The press service noted that the tender for the installation of the automated system was held in December 2017 and KBM LLC (Kyrgyz Business Machine) won it. After installation, the equipment will determine the dimensions of a vehicle and automatically transfer the data to the central server of the State Directorate of the Bishkek-Osh road.
The same equipment will be installed at the 391st kilometer of Bishkek-Osh highway at Kara-Kul post.
The system will minimize the human participation in receiving payments for the journey on the highway. Payment will pass through bank payment systems.
