The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic detained Salaydin Avazov, the former general director of Electric Stations JSC, now the mayor of Jalal-Abad city. The SCNS press service reported.
Salaydin Avazov was detained in the framework of the initiated criminal case on the fact of the breakdown at the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant.
As reported, «Zholdoshbek Nazarov, the former deputy general director of Electric Stations JSC, was also detained as a suspect.»
At present, the detainees are in the temporary detention facility of SCNS. The investigation is ongoing.
