March 9 announced a day off in Kyrgyzstan

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov signed a government decree On transfer of days off.

The decision was made to rationally use weekends and non-working holidays in 2018. The day off on March 3 is shifted to the working day on March 9. In this regard, Kyrgyzstanis will rest on March 8, 9, 10 and March 11.

This applies to the employees of state and municipal organizations working on the schedule of a five-day working week. The solution is recommended to private entrepreneurs.

In addition, the decree concerns the following dates:

— a day off on April 28 is shifted to a working day on April 30; a day off on May 7 (it is recognized as a non-working day because May 5 is a weekend day) is shifted to a working day on September 3;

— a day off on November 3 is transferred to a working day on November 9;

— days off on December 29, 2018 and January 5, 2019 are shifted to working days on December 31, 2018 and January 2, 2019, respectively.

Thus, Kyrgyzstanis will additionally have a rest on April 30, September 3, November 9, from December 31, 2018 to January 2, 2019.

The working days are March 3, April 28, May 7, November 3, December 29, 2018 and January 5, 2019.
