This year, the conditions for conscription into the Kyrgyz army will change. The head of the Main Directorate of Local Armed Forces of the State Committee for Defense Affairs, Ruslan Abdyrakhmanov, told today at a press conference.
According to him, the main emphasis will be put on a qualitative determining of a health status and physical development of conscripts.
«Full medical examination involving the doctors of the military hospital of the General Staff will be conducted at the collecting stations. In addition, the conscripts will take exams in physical training — pull -ups, 100 meters and 3 kilometers race. The exams will be captured on video to exclude corruption risks,» said Ruslan Abdyrakhmanov.
In the fall, as he told, the selection of recruits will be carried out based on moral and business qualities. In particular, the Ministry of Health will involve psychologists for this.
