Graduates of Kyrgyzstan's orphanages can be treated free in clinics

Graduates of Kyrgyzstan’s orphanages can now be treated free of charge in clinics. Head of «Nash Golos» (Our Voice) NGO Ainura Ormonova said today at the round table.

According to her, public organizations are constantly working on the problem of ensuring the rights of graduates of orphanages. In 2015, they conducted a study that showed a real picture of the situation of graduates of orphanages, recommendations for their support were given.

"There are first steps. For example, now graduates of orphanages can come to a clinic, show a certificate that they are graduates of orphanages, and receive the same services that are provided by the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund for orphans. If they have no registration, then this problem can be solved by local self-government bodies. If something does not work, one needs to take the provision and say that they have to register. After graduate of an orphanage gets a residence permit, he will be able to get a passport, "Ainura Ormonova told.
