Almazbek Atambayev awards Order “Manas” to Vladimir Putin

Almazbek Atambayev awarded President of Russia Vladimir Putin the Order «Manas» of the 1^st degree, the Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.

According to it, Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree according to which Vladimir Putin was awarded «Manas» Order of the First Degree «for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and development of the alliance between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.»

Only in exceptional cases, the President of Kyrgyzstan can award citizens the Order of Manas of the 1st  degree, bypassing the awarding of 3rd and 2nd degree.
