Speaker of the Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov allocated 500,000 soms from his reserve fund for repair work at A. Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Press service of the Parliament reported.
According to it, Chynybai Tursunbekov visited the International Festival of Opera Art named after People’s Artist of USSR Bulat Minzhilkiev.
In his speech, he stressed that the theater is an important cultural center of the country.
Recall, 29,117 million soms were allocated for the repair of the theater. It was planned to finish the work by the Independence Day.
