Famous writer from Austria Daniela Emminger writes novel about Kyrgyzstan

Famous Austrian writer Daniela Emminger wrote a novel in German, the events in which occur in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is noted that Daniela Emminger is the author of five novels and a laureate of several literary awards in German-speaking countries.

The writer arrived in Kyrgyzstan in 2015 for only a couple of weeks, but the country inspired her to write the next work.

At the meeting with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Austria Bakyt Dzhusupov, the writer shared her impressions of reading «Manas» and the novels of Chingiz Aitmatov. Dzhusupov expressed his readiness to assist in the popularization of the novel after its publication both in Austria and in Kyrgyzstan.
