Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev promised to severely punish troublemakers and assured that he has enough time for this. The head of state said this at the ceremony of launching the Bishkek TPP after modernization.
According to him, now many people think that after Almazbek Atambayev’s departure everything will change. But this will not happen. The country should be clean and prosperous, and for this «it is necessary to clean the elite of the country». Almazbek Atambayev noted that we are not talking about old or young people, because there are young people with a rotten soul.
«If you shoot in the past with a gun, the future will shoot you with cannon. This must always be remembered in order not to be mistaken. In a month and a half, Kyrgyzstanis will elect a new president. I know that everything is being done so that a man who continues the course of Atambayev doesn’t come to power,» the president said.
He noted that there are people who want the old order. Some already say that we need to return to presidential rule.
