Students of madrasahs to be taught secular occupations

Students of the madrasahs in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions will be taught secular occupations. Public Fund «AVEP» informed.

According to its data, in addition to religious studies, courses of cooks-confectioners, seamstresses, computer specialists will be opened in madrasahs. It is noted that everything necessary for training was purchased for 550,000 soms.

According to the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, some madrasahs in Chui region already have such courses. Last year, 400 graduates received certificates. 65 percent of them are employed.
