The first wall with graffiti created by Basicolors art group within the framework of I Love Bishkek project was opened at the intersection of Ayni and Toktonaliev Streets in Bishkek.
«The project is aimed at changing the public spaces of the city by the hands of creative youth and active citizens," one of the artists, Viktor Tsoi, told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the idea was to present the city in the form of a person who creates by one hand and destroys the created by the other.
«This picture was not created as criticism or condemnation of someone, it should serve as a reminder that the city creates and destroys itself. At the same time, I would like to stress how fragile the green city fund can be: it, like a drawing, can be easily erased with the help of eraser, whereas it takes much more time to create it," the organizers said.
It is specified that eight graffiti artists took part in the project, the preparation and implementation of the project took about two weeks.
