Two killed, five–in intensive care unit after gas station explosion in Ananyevo

10 people were injured in gas station explosion in Ananyevo village, Issyk-Kul region, eight of them were hospitalized. Two people were killed- a child and an adult.

According to the press center of the Ministry of Health, at night the victims were transferred from the Center for General Practice in Ananyevo to the territorial hospital of Cholpon-Ata.

In total, seven patients were delivered. One victim was provided outpatient care and was discharged in satisfactory condition.

Five patients with burns are in the intensive care unit:

1. B. v. , born in 1958. He has thermal burns (face, upper and lower limbs, body) of the second degree (60 percent).

2. B. A., born in 1956. Diagnosis: thermal burns (head, face, neck, body, upper and lower limbs, anterior abdominal wall) of the second degree (90 percent of the body).

3. A. B., born in 1960. Diagnosis: thermal burns (head, face, neck, body, upper and lower limbs, anterior abdominal wall) of the second degree (80 percent). The patient is connected to artificial lung ventilation.

4. M. N., born in 1971. The diagnosis is the same, the second degree burns (60 percent).

5. M. U., born in 1979. The diagnosis is similar, the second degree burns (80–90 percent of the body).

Two patients are in the surgery unit: J. S., born in 1988 and B.K., born in 1992. They have second-degree burns (45 percent of the body).

A brigade of physicians (combustiologist and resuscitator) from the Bishkek Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics left for the scene.

The victims are provided with all the necessary drugs and blood components in full.
