The Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan denied the recommendation of the Prosecutor General to seize the property of Zanoza Internet media outlet. The journalist Naryn Aiyp informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the recommendation was filed with the phrase «to seize all kinds of property.»
«But the founder of Zanoza.kg website has no property. So there’s nothing to arrest. And it won’t be possible to arrest now, even if there is any real estate or finance. And the accounts are arrested," Naryn Aiyp said.
Note, the Prosecutor General's Office filed five lawsuits to protect the honor and dignity of the President against Zanoza and journalist Naryn Aiyp. The sum of each of the claims is 3 million soms.
