During the first 5 months of 2017, officers of the patrol police units served 15,151 calls on 102 and solved 2,489 crimes. 15,120 protocols have been drawn up for violation of public order.

For 5 months of the current year, there were registered 10.5 percent more traffic accidents than in the same period of 2016. At the same time, the number of the killed decreased by 25.7 percent (from 330 to 245), and the number of injured increased by 6.6 percent (from 2, 298 to 3,196).
The number of traffic accidents with the participation of children decreased by 89 cases (by 15.4 percent). The number of children killed (from 51 to 19) and injured (from 626 to 538) reduced.
