The trial on the suit of Ata Meken party against the President Almazbek Atambayev to defend honor, dignity and business reputation of the organization will resume on May 30. The lawyer Taalaigul Toktakunova informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the trial will start in the Pervomaisky court, while they sent a complaint about the decision of the first instance court on the appointment of a linguistic examination without taking into account the plaintiff’s opinion to the Bishkek City Court. «But the trial for some reason will take place in the court of first instance, despite our complaint," Taalaigul Toktakunova said.
Recall, the Socialists appealed to the court, demanding from Almazbek Atambayev to apologize for calling Ata Meken a smelly party, and their leader Omurbek Tekebayev — a marauder. However, the representative of the president in court noted that Almazbek Atambayev did not insult or call either Ata Meken or Omurbek Tekebayev.
