Red Crescent opens second receiving office in Bishkek

The Red Crescent Society of Kyrgyzstan opened the second receiving office for humanitarian clothing in Bishkek, which is located in the building of the Sverdlovsk administration.

«Warehouse of the humanitarian clothing and footwear in the office of the Red Crescent has been successfully operating for many years. Anyone who is in a difficult life situation can get here clothes for all seasons. Here, townspeople also bring second-hand clothes and give for those who are in urgent need," the press service of the National Society said.

«Clothes are received not only by individuals. We cooperate with children’s homes and homes for the elderly. The opening of such offices will allow to give the townspeople more things, as well as to draw public attention to the problems of socially vulnerable groups of the population," the NRCS notes.

The points for the collection of humanitarian aid for those in need in Bishkek are located at:

— Erkindik Boulevard, 10 ( Bokonbaev St.) — the office of the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan (collection and distribution of clothes every day from 9.00 till 17.00, and there is also a visiting collection (volunteers come when applications are received)).

— Chui Avenue, 28 — the building of the Sverdlovsk administration (reception and delivery on Mondays and Fridays from 10.00 till 17.00).
