Residents of Dacha SU community, where cargo plane Boeing 747 crashed on January 16, hold a rally.
As one of the protesters told to 24.kg news agency, several hundred people gathered at the crash site. They demand from the authorities to resolve the issue of transferring the village to a safer place.
A plenipotentiary representative of the government in Chui region, head of the district, as well as one of the deputies of the Parliament came to meet with people.
These persons are not yet available for comment.
After publication of information about the intention of citizens to organize a protest, press service of the government said that there would be no rally. «None of the members of the families who lost a relative on the day of the tragedy or the victims have voiced an initiative to hold a rally. All those who suffered that day are experiencing their grief in silence," the Cabinet quoted one of the victims.
The crash of the Turkish cargo plane on January 16 killed 35 Kyrgyz citizens and four crew members. Several dozen houses were destroyed.
It should be noted that more than 96.2 million soms have been transferred to special account of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to help the affected citizens. However, officials have not yet begun to provide material assistance.
