The arrested leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev has received documents on owners of cargo on Boeing 747, which crashed on January 16, 2017 in Dacha SU village, close to Manas airport. The lawyer Taalaygul Toktakunova told today at a press conference.
According to her, this is why Tekebayev was detained immediately after arrival from a business trip from Vienna (Austria). Intelligence agencies thought that the deputy carried the documents, the lawyer noticed.
«He received documents of particular importance from Turkey’s Security Service. It says that the investigation into the crash of Turkish cargo plane in Bishkek has yielded results. The cargo — cell phones, computers, money, precious metals and stones — belonged to the family of the President. A Turkish citizen with a nickname «Rattlesnake» was involved in loading," Taalaygul Toktakunova said.
«Tekebayev was going to consider this document at a meeting of the parliamentary commission. We ask the Kyrgyz Parliament to exclude Omurbek Tekebayev from the parliamentary commission and include Kanybek Imanaliev," she added.
Omurbek Tekebayev was arrested on February 27 for two months. The deputy is accused of corruption and fraud.
