Vladimir Putin arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan began.

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenebkov will meet the head of the Russian Federation at Manas airport.

The State Residence Ala-Archa will host talks with Almazbek Atambayev in the narrow and expanded formats. After all meetings, it’s planned to sign a number of documents and to hold a press conference.

It is expected that the two leaders will discuss regional security issues in relation to events in Afghanistan and CIS border regions. In addition,  assistance to Kyrgyzstan in economic projects relating to integration into the Eurasian Economic Union is on the agenda.
