A quarter of all government procurement in Kyrgyzstan is a direct signing of a contract. Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Ulugbek Maripov announced today at a meeting of SDPK parliamentary faction.
As a result of the public procurement system audit in 2015, the Chamber of Accounts detected violations at 8.3 million soms.
At least 13 materials on them were sent to law enforcement agencies. 1,118,000 soms have been refunded.
«The audit of public procurement in 2015 revealed the facts of low requirements and criteria to goods and services. Companies show low prices, but the quality of the goods in the end is unclear, the question remains open as a result. In addition, we detected cases where tenders were held without competition or retroactively," Ulugbek Maripov told.
