Over half a million Kyrgyz citizens receive passports in 2016

At least 582,971 passports were issued to Kyrgyz citizens in 2016, the board of the State Registration Service informed today at a meeting.

• 384,112 citizens got ID cards, 198,859 people- international passports.

In comparison with 2015, the issuance of passports sharply rose in Bishkek, Osh, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions.

In 2015, the capital issued 57,000 passports, in 2016 — 83,700.

24,200 people got passorts in Osh city in 2015, and in 2016 — 54,900.
