Kyrgyz court permits blocking of malicious websites

The day before, Oktyabrsky district court of Bishkek granted a claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan on blocking users' access to malicious websites.

The court recognized the information, posted on social networking applications, namely in the so-called death groups, banned for spreading on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

The State Committee for Information Technology and Communications as an authorized body in information field development was charged with execution of the court decision.

Prosecutor General’s Office’s work on providing information security and protection of the rights of minors will continue.
