Renovation of Kozhomkul Sports Palace begins in Bishkek

Following Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev’s instructions, work has begun in Kozhomkul Sports Palace in Pervomaisky district of Bishkek. The City Hall’s press service reported.

Demolition work began today in the area where the swimming pool will be located. Specialized equipment is currently in operation, including two excavators and 16 HOWO units.

The work is being carried out by the Capital Construction Department in accordance with the approved plan.

The renovation aims to upgrade the facility’s infrastructure and create modern conditions for the development of sports, including aquatic sports. The project also includes the construction of a new swimming pool, which will expand training opportunities and improve accessibility to the sports infrastructure for residents of the capital.
