An earthquake measuring approximately magnitude 3.5 was registered on the Kyrgyzstan — China border. The Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences reported.
According to the Institute, the tremors were recorded this morning at 5.44 a.m.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located on the border with China, 34 kilometers southeast of the village of Tash-Koroo and 120 kilometers southeast of Karakol.
The earthquake was not felt in populated areas of Kyrgyzstan.
