The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will provide Kyrgyzstan with $79 million. The money will be used to build mortgage housing. The bill on ratification of the agreement was adopted by the Parliament in the third reading.
The background statement says that the IDB funds will be used to build about 2,000 apartments.
The project should be implemented within five years from the date of allocation of the funds. The money is allocated for 25 years. A seven-year deferment of the payments is also provided.
