Kamchybek Tashiev meets with Turkey’s intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin

The Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev held a meeting with the chief of the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin. The meeting took place as part of the state visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the SCNS reported.

During the meeting, Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation between the two countries. It is noted that the State Committee for National Security, together with the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey, organized a number of special events that were successfully implemented.

Tashiev also emphasized the importance of the state visit of Turkish President Erdogan to the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed confidence that such meetings will make a great contribution to the expansion of strategic cooperation between the two countries.

It was noted during the meeting that Kyrgyzstan is always ready to cooperate with the Republic of Turkey in any area as the closest strategic partner.

In turn, Ibrahim Kalin thanked the Kyrgyz people for the warm welcome and hospitality, noting that the visit of the Turkish leader to Kyrgyzstan is very important for them too.

In his speech, Ibrahim Kalin noted the major role of the SCNS Chairman Kamchybek Tashiev in ensuring the national security of Kyrgyzstan, citing as an example the efforts on elimination of organized crime groups and the facts of their financing, as well as decisive steps in resolving border issues.
