Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Bishkek on a state visit on November 4. President Sadyr Japarov welcomed him at Manas International Airport. The press service of the head of state reported.
Flags of the two countries were hung on flagpoles, a carpet was laid out, an installation in the form of a national yurt was set up, and an honor guard was lined up.
Girls in national costumes, greeting Recep Tayyip Erdogan, presented him with flowers, boorsoks and honey.
The presidents and their spouses watched a concert program with the participation of Kyrgyz artists, who performed Kyrgyz and Turkish musical pieces.
During the visit, negotiations between the leaders of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey will take place in a narrow format, as well as the sixth meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation under their chairmanship, where it is planned to discuss key issues of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey partnership.
Following the visit, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at expanding strategic cooperation and further strengthening interstate relations between the two countries.
