Boxer from Kyrgyzstan Tynystan Alybaev won a bronze medal at the World Boxing Championship among youth aged 17-18, which is being held in Montenegro.
He competed in the weight category up to 92 kilograms. The Kyrgyz boxer lost to an opponent from Iran in the semi-finals and ultimately took third place.
Earlier it was reported that another member of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, boxer Amantur Zhumaev, also won bronze in Montenegro in the weight category up to 54 kilograms. He has already won the world champion title last year.
The World Boxing Championship among youth is being held in Montenegro from October 20 to November 6. Athletes from 88 countries participate in it.
