The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan intends to allocate 900 million soms annually for the implementation of Smart City project.
Smart City is a component of Safe City project.
The ministry allocates budget funds in the amount of 900 million soms for every 12 months from 2025 to 2027.
On September 18, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree aimed at improving the work of Safe City component in Smart City project. The document appoints the Ministry of Internal Affairs as the main body responsible for coordinating implementation of this project.
The Ministry of Digital Development has to transfer the automated Safe City system to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Infocom state enterprise under the Ministry of Digital Development has been appointed as the technical operator of this system.
