The Russian Federation is our closest ally and reliable strategic partner, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan.
He noted the close Russia — Kyrgyzstan cooperation at the highest level. On September 12, the 6th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum was held, and in October, President Sadyr Japarov will take part in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS and the BRICS summit.
According to him, the government of Kyrgyzstan is grateful to Russia for allocation of grants to support the budget and recapitalize the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
Earlier, Russia also donated equipment to the State Service on Drug Control of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the autonomous non-profit organization Eurasia donated 100 school buses for remote regions.
«I would like to note once again that Kyrgyzstan — Russia relations are at the highest level, as befits our traditions of partnership,» Akylbek Japarov said.
