Natural Resources Ministry tightens control over landfills in regions

The Ministry of Natural Resources continues to work on regulating landfills in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. Inspectors of Chui Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service detected violations in Nurmanbet ayil okmotu in Chui region. The press service of the ministry reported.

The inspection showed that there is no authorized landfill on the territory of the ayil aimak, and all solid household and construction waste is placed without permits.

In connection with this, local authorities were fined 13,000 soms. In addition, representatives of the ayil okmotu were issued an order to eliminate the detected violations and bring the landfill into compliance with the norms.
