On the initiative of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey, a protocol on the establishment of twinning ties between Cholpon-Ata and Antalya was signed. This event marked a new stage of strengthening bilateral relations and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
According to it, the partnership between the cities will open new prospects for cooperation in various spheres, including investments in tourism and infrastructure projects.
Special attention in the framework of future interaction will be paid to the exchange of experience in the development of urban infrastructure and the coastal zone of Issyk-Kul lake, construction technologies, as well as environmentally friendly solutions to protect the environment.
In addition, the Kyrgyz side proposed the idea of implementing a promising project on opening of a Kyrgyz-Turkish training and educational center in Cholpon-Ata, which will contribute to the training of qualified specialists in the field of tourism and intensify cooperation in the field of education.
