Over the first seven months of 2024, employees of the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan seized more than 176,000 packs of cigarettes as part of measures to reduce the illegal circulation of excisable goods. The press service of the department reported.
According to it, the main violations were the illegal storage or sale of tobacco products without excise stamps, produced abroad under the brands Oris, Milano, Like, Mondeo and Morbella.
The Tax Service reminds that a fine of 65,000 soms is provided for the sale of up to 1,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps, more than 1,000 — imprisonment for up to five years.
