Ex-MP Nurgazy Aidarov declared wanted for financing organized crime group

The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) has put former MP Nurgazy Aidarov on the wanted list. He is suspected of financing the activities of an organized crime group.

The investigators have established facts of financing by Nurgazy Aidarov of the activities of members of international organized crime groups, including the leader of the criminal world of Uzbekistan, Salim Abduvaliev, known as «Salimbay Bayvocha». The SCNS noted that he is one of the main organizers of the drug trafficking channel in the countries of Central Asia.

«Thus, Nurgazy Aidarov, being aware of the illegal activities of Abduvaliev and his close ties with Kamchy Kolbaev, during his stay in Uzbekistan in every possible way showed signs of respect to the leader of the criminal world of Uzbekistan. The latter, in turn, provided patronage in business and other activities in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan,» the statement says.

Based on the collected materials, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek has ruled in absentia to remand former deputy of the Kyrgyz Parliament Nurgazy Aidarov in custody. He is wanted by Interpol for criminal prosecution.
