The head of the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan inspected preparations for the construction of Kambar-Ata-1 hydropower station. The press service of the ministry reports.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the remaining part of the tunnel will be completed by August 31.
As part of the preparations for the construction of the hydropower station, a 110 kV overhead line has been laid, a road has been made, and supports for the power transmission line have been installed.
According to Taalaibek Ibraev, construction of the hydropower station should begin in 2025.
He also inspected the progress of the reconstruction of Kambar-Ata −2.
