The Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Nuriya Kutnaeva told about the ministry’s immediate plans at a press conference. They include the launch of the Data Processing Center and the state cloud storage Gcloud, as well as the delegation of the work of the Public Service Centers.
The initiatives include the launch of the Data Processing Center and the state cloud storage Gcloud. Previously, each government agency purchased its own servers, now all these resources will be concentrated on the site of the State Data Processing Center. This will increase the number of digital documents and digitize public services in all state bodies.
In addition, the Ministry of Digital Development plans to delegate the functions of Public Service Centers (PSCs) to aiyl okmotu, where operators will work, and launch a project to transfer certain functions of the PSCs to commercial structures and banks, expanding the number of document reception points.
To improve the quality of services, a KPI system will be introduced in the PSCs to evaluate the efficiency of employees. The best employees will receive additional remuneration.
In order to relieve the workload of the Public Service Centers, it is planned to introduce a new digital service in Tunduk application for registration of citizens at their place of residence and online submission of applications for passports.
