Bishkek City Hall has set the norms of water consumption, its press service reports.
The norms were developed for those, who do not have a water meter in their homes. The decree of the municipality came into force.
- Water consumption from street standpipes — 50 liters per day.
- Houses with water supply without central sewerage — 350 liters per day.
- Houses with water supply and central sewerage — 350 liters per day.
- Individual residential buildings with water supply, central sewerage and centralized hot water supply — 350 liters per day.
- Multi-storey residential buildings with water supply, sewerage and hot water supply — 310 liters per day.
Recall, officials noted in February that Bishkekvodokanal would need 4.1 billion soms to install water meters for all consumers. The City Hall initiated adoption of regulations that would oblige residents to install meters at their own expense. It was proposed to do this so that citizens would start paying according to the actual consumption and would not use water extremely wastefully.
