CAFA tournament in Jalal-Abad: Son of Kamchybek Tashiev plays as captain

The U-20 football team of Kyrgyzstan played its second match at the CAFA International Tournament in Jalal-Abad. The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) reported on social media.

The Kyrgyz team played a draw (0:0) with the team of Tajikistan in the third round of the group stage.

The son of the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev, Emir-Khan Kadyrshaev, entered the field as a captain.

In the first game, the team of Kyrgyzstan defeated Afghanistan (4:0). The national team took first place in the group and will now play in the final with Iran on July 11.

The International CAFA U-20 Tournament is taking place in Jalal-Abad with the participation of teams from Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The President of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Kamchybek Tashiev, also watched the matches in the stands.
