Residents of two villages held a rally near the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in Talas region because of the road construction. The press service of the office confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Residents of Nyldy and Sary-Bulak villages held the protest. They are dissatisfied that the construction of Talas — Nyldy-Aral — Pokrovka road does not continue and the quality of the previously built road is poor.
Talantbek Edilov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President, met with the people and noted that construction works will continue soon. As for the quality of the road in Nyldy village, he will go to the place and check it himself.
Local residents also held a rally with similar demands on March 29, 2021.
Recall, back in 2012, the prosecutor’s office of Kyrgyzstan initiated a criminal case on the fact of embezzlement during the construction of Talas — Nyldy — Pokrovka road.
