A four-year-old girl was raped in Jalal-Abad. The Internal Affairs Department of the region informed 24.kg news agency.
The police received information about the incident on June 24. That day, a child was raped by a stranger in the courtyard of one of the multi-storey buildings on Azimov Street. An investigative team went to the scene and seized material evidence.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 154 «Rape» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations have been ordered.
A 35-year-old man was detained as a suspect. He was arrested for two months by court decision. The investigation continues.
