Dismantling of objects has begun in Ataturk park in Bishkek. The press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
The Land Use Control Department dismantles objects located on the eastern side of the park. A 86-meter-long fence is dismantled at 69, Maldybaev Street. In addition, a 14-meter-long canopy will be removed.
«Residents begin work to dismantle the fence on a voluntary basis around the 4-story building No. 104/1. It was installed on municipal territory without the appropriate permits,» the City Hall reported.
In April, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Dzhunushaliev, signed a resolution approving the border of Ataturk park. According to archival data from Bishkekglavarchitektura municipal enterprise, 198 objects are in the return zone. But their number, according to the mayor, may be higher. The City Hall assures that it will act within the framework of the law in relation to real estate property, prepare and file claims in the courts. The municipality sent the materials to law enforcement agencies for a legal assessment.
