Bishkek will transfer 13 passenger buses to Tokmak and Balykchy cities. The draft resolution of the Bishkek City Council «On giving consent to the gratuitous alienation of passenger buses into state ownership of the Kyrgyz Republic» says. The document has been submitted for public discussion.
As the background statement says, the basis for initiating the process of transfer of buses were written requests from the municipalities of Tokmak and Balykchy cities.
It is planned to transfer 7 buses to the City Hall of Tokmak, and 6 buses — to Balykchy.
«Taking into account that the rolling stock of the municipal Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise has been updated with new passenger buses and, based on supply agreements, its further increase is expected, the allocation of 13 passenger buses to the aforementioned municipalities will not affect the provision of transport services to citizens and guests of the capital,» the document says.
It is also noted that the buses planned for transfer were put into operation between 2008 and 2019, the average mileage varies from 40,000 kilometers to 250,000 kilometers.
It was previously reported that the City Hall will transfer 10 passenger buses to the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
