Drug gang members detained in Batken for growing hybrid marijuana

A criminal group involved in the production and sale of drugs was detained in Batken region. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

Police officers carried out a large-scale special operation against the criminal group.

«Members of three criminal groups were simultaneously detained in Kyzyl-Kiya. About 1,615 grams of hashish were found during search. All detainees were placed in a temporary detention facility,» the statement says.

The investigators found the suspects — A.A., 57, previously convicted several times, operationally registered as a member of a drug gang; E.M., 53, previously repeatedly convicted of a similar crime and N.M., 47, in whose house a drug laboratory for growing hybrid varieties of marijuana was discovered, and a drug den was also organized.

The necessary examinations have been ordered and investigative actions are being carried out. Measures are being taken to detect channels for the entry of narcotic drugs into the region.
