At least 1,975 foreign citizens obtained Digital Nomad status. The press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry recalled that the pilot project for assigning the status is being implemented since September 29, 2022.
Citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Russia who work in the field of animation, graphic design, multimedia design, programming, IT product development, robotics and artificial intelligence can apply for the Digital Nomad status.
The recipient of the status is exempt from obtaining a permit for one year, registration at the place of temporary residence, automatically receives a PIN code, and also receives government services in the manner established by the Ministry of Justice and the Tax Service.
